In order to do a better job of farmer pension insurance business and promote steady development of pension insurance business, BRCB held urban and rural residents pension insurance business meeting with Beijing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, relevant people from concerned departments of the headquarter, Beijing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and Social Security Stations of each county attended the meeting.

Our bank started agent business for collection of urban and rural residents pension insurance and granting of pension. By the end of May 31, 2010, our bank had opened 1.42 million personal special accounts of urban and rural residents pension insurance in total, with deposit balance of 660 million yuan. The finance bureaus in 10 suburb districts and counties had opened special finance account of urban and rural residents pension insurance in our bank; the deposit balance of the account accumulated to 2080 million yuan.

This meeting effectively promoted the good cooperation relationship between our bank and Beijing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. All participants expressed their opinions with eagerness: they introduced current business situation combining their own conditions, analyzed and summarized practical experiences, proposed improvement measures for the account opening, upgrading of service functions, improvement of business efficiency and quality and other issues, which laid a good foundation for increase of our insurance and deposit amount.
